Sanctuary In Chains - Closed

Due to several reasons, we have decided against opening Sanctuary in Chains. We apologize to anyone that may have been greatly looking forward to its introduction. Our reasons for doing so follow:

  1. After doing some research into what other outlets there are out there, online, we found that Second Life pretty much dominates that market to such a degree that it would not be worth the effort to try and compete with it.

  2. While there was some interest shown in SiC, the amount just isn't enough to justify the effort involved and to keep it as a viable community.

  3. Even if we did open it with our current player base having the chance to play there, in looking at Second Life's hold on this sort of game play, there would be little to no "fresh blood" to expand and fill in the community holes as people move on.

Sometimes you get beat to the punch, and in this instance, we definitely got beat to it.
